DEPTHS AND HEIGHTS (EVRS 07)

Recalculating the depths and heights from the Mean Sea Level of the Baltic Height System (BHS77) into the European Vertical Reference System (EVRS07) and Lithuanian Height System (LHS07), the depth values  on the chart need to be reduced by 0.13 meters (-13 cm) and the heights must be increased by 0.13 meters (+13 cm).

FORMER MINED AREA

Former Mined Areas, opened for navigation. Ships are not advised to anchor, trawl, dredge, proceed with a stack anchor or conduct other operations near the sea bed, because of danger of mines and other unexploded ordnances may exist.


MILITARY PRACTICE AREA

Area is dangerous to navigation for the period of dangerous operations conduct. The time of dangerous operations conduct and promulgated via NAVTEX 5 days in advance before the commencement of these operations.


FISHING  NETS

Uncharted fishing nets can be laid in Lithuanian coastal areas inside the 20 m depth contour.


SPOIL GROUND

Depths in Spoil Ground Areas may be less than charted.


HISTORIC WRECKS

The sites of historic wreck are protected from unauthorised exploration and interference. Zones 500 m in radius have been established around such wrecks.


SUBMARINE CABLE

Anchoring, fishing and any underwater works are prohibited within a safety zone extending 100 m on both sides of the submarine cable.
